Edge Hill Short Story Prize 2017

Now in its ninth year, the Edge Hill Prize is the only UK award that recognises excellence in a single author, published short story collection. The unique accolade is proving increasingly popular with the prize attracting established authors who compete alongside relative newcomers for the prize.

The prize has three categories, the main literary award of £5,000 as well as a £1,000 Reader’s Prize judged by BA Creative Writing students, and a £500 award for rising talents on the MA Creative Writing course.
